What’s hot and what’s not.
Cars of the future, as a motor enthusiast and a toddler at heart, whenever I envisage cars of the future, it automatically shapes into something that would be able to travel through space, hover, have rear spoilers that have no actual use, and produce so little pollution that everytime one is actually purchased, a polar bear gets a little more of it’s home back. But in this article I would like to...

Alfa Passion
In modern day society,  two Italian super car brands seemingly dominate their category, Ferrari and Lamborghini, undoubtedly great cars, with their Italian/ German style, finesse and of course their stomach wrenching speeds and power. Trying to outdo one of the two… well? let’s be quite frank, is a huge risk and could end in tears. So what were Alfa thinking then? did they actually believe they...

Confessions of a lazy blogger
Cue these three songs immediately. Right, well it’s been quite a while since last posting here at The Green Room. This time, however, I promise we’re back (honest)! This is just a heads up about a pretty major site upgrade that will hopefully be launched on our first birthday (August 20th). Until then, posts are going to be a little light around here (just like usual) but rest assured, we...

Thoughts on the PSP Go
Last month at E3, Sony announced the fourth addition to the PSP (Playstation Portable) family, the PSP Go. This ‘futuristic’ gadget looks impressive. The two previous additions to the original PlayStation Portable have been largely unexciting, but Sony hopes to recapture the market with the more portable option. This new PSP has been, as expected, completely redesigned. This new PSP has a huge...

Errors in The Sydney Morning Herald’s technology...
If you’ve ever seen ABC’s Media Watch, you’ll be well aware of the rapidly declining online journalism standards here in Australia. On more than a few occasions, I’ve noticed errors and omissions in The Sydney Morning Herald’s technology news and I thought it was important to share them here. Obviously, the internet isn’t (nor should it be) error-free. It’s full of mistakes – I’ve made dozens...

This week in Gaming: Madworld
Platform: Nintendo Wii Developers: Platform Games, Sega Classification: MA 15+ Genre: Action, Fighting My Rating: ★★★★★ Now I don’t usually give a five star rating for any game, but for this one, it deserves it. Sega and Platform games have teamed up to create the recently released Madworld for Wii. Wii is not known for  being a hardcore gaming console, rather a family game, however this game...

Movie Review: Magnolia
Tom Cruise as Frank T.J. Mackey, looking solemnly down upon his father. 1999 Magnolia Directed by P.T. Anderson A powerful and often painfully misinterpreted film At first sight this film looks painfully boring. With a run time of over 3 hours, how could this possibly hold anyones attention? When I first saw the film, I didn’t think much of it, but after repeated viewings, this has become one...

Review: The E.N.D.
The Black Eyed Peas are arguably one of the most iconic hip-hop groups sinceGrandmaster Flash and The Furious Five. Since Behind the Front, (their debut album) the Los Angeles based ’supergroup’ have sold an estimated twenty seven million singles and albums worldwide. The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies), their fifth release, will sell a heap more. Their first single from the album, Boom Boom Pow,...

Antiglare 15″ MacBook Pro just around the corner?
While visiting my local Apple Store yesterday, I noticed (amongst the dozens of notebooks on display) a 15″ MacBook Pro with an antiglare (or matte) screen. This seemed to be particularly odd, since Apple currently only includes the glossy display option on all of their notebooks, except of course the 17″ MacBook Pro, where it can be configured with an antiglare screen for an extra $50 (USD)....
